When was the last time you intentionally took time to nurture 'the nurturer'?
You are the heart of your family, constantly giving your time, energy, and love to ensure your children and home thrive. But to pour into others, you must first replenish yourself. Attending this retreat is not just a chance for self-care; it's an investment in becoming the best version of yourself—for you and your family.
Your growth and nourishment is not a luxury, it is a necessity on the path of Intentional Motherhood.
We have designed this Retreat to help you not just learn from sisters who have been on the path of home education, but also help you rest, recover, and re-align towards your goals in motherhood and family life.
This path can seem arduous at times, and we all benefit from gathering in nurturing spaces to learn, share, and find a community of like-minded sisters committed to raising and educating children with excellence.
Whether just starting out or in the trenches, you will benefit from an intentional break that helps you sustain this journey.
This retreat will help you clarify your intentions, reaffirm your faith, and refill your cup so you can pour it back into your family.
I hope you will join us at this beautiful venue and partake in knowledge and wisdom from like-minded sisters, nourish yourself through activities designed just for you - an 'art & reflection' session with an artist, a nature walk along a stunning lake, and a stress-relieving activity with a practitioner in the beautiful outdoors.

Juli Herman
Juli Herman is a grandmother of two and retired homeschooling mother of four. She considers herself a student of Quran and Arabic and is passionate about both. She strives to stay active mentally through continuous learning, and physically through exercise.
Hana Khatib
Hana is passionate about homeschooling. For years, she’s cultivated a rich learning environment that inspires, nurtures, and empowers her students and herself. Working with her strengths and talents may be the secret to her success and the key to her ability to thrive long-term as a homeschooler.
The homeschooling journey is challenging, even at the best of times. Hana encourages you to build your confidence as a homeschooling parent by learning to cultivate your passions and love of learning, so you can raise lifelong learners. In the process, you’re likely to discover who you are, your strengths, and your abilities.
Hana has been homeschooling since 2003 using a Waldorf-inspired approach. While her 3 sons are grown, she is still homeschooling her 13-year-old daughter.
She currently lives in California but can be found virtually on her website at pepperandpine.com and sharing videos and content on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and TikTok at Pepper and Pine.
Alina Jaffrey
A dedicated homeschooling mother of three for over 12 years, Alina embraces a literature-driven approach to education. As she prepares to send her eldest son to college, she reflects on the journey of nurturing lifelong learners.
A lifelong Quran student, she finds joy in travel, home organization, and cleaning. Her favorite pastime is reading middle school novels, and she is in the process of curating an epic book list tailored for Muslim youth.
Sabeen Mansoori

She currently teaches art workshops online and in person and works on her own unique style of Modern Calligraphy, IhsaanArt, which is a fusion of landscape painting and Arabic script.
At the RECLAIM MOTHERHOOD RETREAT, Sabeen will be leading an art session - "Living Our Dreams - an artistic reflection on Sura Yusuf"
Nur Amer
Nur Amer is a storytelling and public speaking teacher and coach. Her passion is to infuse her professional experience in communications with her lived experiences in 5 different countries and cultures. Her master’s dissertation in cultural depictions in media jump-started her interest in cultural storytelling. After starting her journey as a homeschooler, the importance of preserving culture became a primary focus in her work with her children.
Myra Kaiser
Myra Kaiser is a homeschooling mother of 4. Homeschooling her children sparked her own love of learning so you can always find her taking her own classes alongside teaching her children. She loves pushing herself to learn and try things she used to tell herself that she wouldn’t be good at (unless it involves heights!). She pursued her masters in marriage and family therapy, and uses the knowledge she gained at home instead of the workplace, in order to walk alongside her children while they are young. She’s an idea girl-she loves coming up with an exciting idea, getting it off the ground and then handing it off to someone passionate, as she moves on to the next big idea.
Hanaa Garad
Hanaa is mom of 2 little ones, an avid reader, and loves spending time in nature.
She’s also an EFT practitioner that supports other mamas to overcome burnout and regain their energy, joy, and sense of self again.
It was her own rocky journey into motherhood that inspired her to focus on serving mothers. And she believes every mama needs and deserves tools to regulate her nervous system.
Noorsaba Sayed

She has been involved in several grassroots efforts and initiatives in the DFW area for the last eight years.
